SHOT BREAKDOWN

I worked in the 3D department of this movie called “Chico & Rita” directed by Javier Mariscal and Fernando Trueba. In this shot, I did all the modeling following the drawing style. I prepared everything in layers to texture them by camera projections, then I painted everything. Then I prepared all the render passes and made a pre-composite to provide it to the compositors.
Softwares used: XSI, Photoshop, Nuke.

In this shot of Times Square I did all the background modeling and I textured it by camera projections with the background artists drawings.
I also prepared all the render passes.
Softwares used: XSI, Photoshop.

For this teaser for the animated movie called “No pets allowed”, I created most of the texture maps for the characters, props and backgrounds, inlcuding the bump, specular maps, masks and UV mapping.
Softwares used: XSI, Photoshop, 3DCoat, UVLayout.

For this teaser for the live action feature film "Paper Village" I did all the texture maps.
Softwares used: XSI, Photoshop.

This creature is from the CG online workshop "Texture Painting with Mari".
The model was done by Bruno Melo.
I painted all the texture maps with Mari, and did the render with XSI.

These are personal digital paintings.
Some of them are 30 minutes speed paintings with
the objective to capture the mood of the scene,
and others are more detailed.
Softwares used: Painter, Photoshop.

This matte painting is also a personal project.
I did everything (except the grass), from concept, modeling, texturing and lighting to render and compositing.
Softwares used: XSI, Photoshop, Zbrush, Nuke.
